Sam's Window Tinting
Dark supercar with XPEL ceramic window tint

Automotive Window Tint

XPEL ceramic tint, measured in light

Nano-ceramic film that rejects heat without going dark, blocks the UV that fades interiors and burns skin, and never interferes with your phone, GPS, or keyless entry. Installed by an authorized XPEL dealer in Dumont, NJ.

XPEL PRIME Films

Three PRIME films, one standard of clarity

Two nano-ceramic films — XR PLUS and XR — plus color-stable CS. Every PRIME film is non-metal, so there's no signal interference and no purple fade over time. The difference is how much infrared heat you want stopped at the glass. We'll match the film to your car, your commute, and how the cabin actually feels in July.

FLAGSHIP

PRIME XR PLUS

Our top ceramic film. Up to 98% infrared heat rejection and 99% UV protection with crystal clarity and zero signal interference. The most heat stopped at any shade — the choice when comfort comes first.

HIGH VALUE

PRIME XR

Serious nano-ceramic heat rejection at a friendlier price. Blocks 99% of UV and a large share of infrared heat, with the same clear, color-stable look. The smart middle ground for daily drivers.

COLOR STABLE

PRIME CS

A color-stable film — not ceramic — built to stay true and never fade to purple. Non-metal construction blocks 99% of UV with solid heat and glare control in a wide range of shades. A clean, lasting upgrade over factory glass.

PRIME XR PLUS — Performance

Why It Matters

Cooler, safer, and easier on your eyes

Ceramic tint changes how the car feels the moment you get in. The benefits stack up every drive.

Less heat means the cabin cools faster and the A/C works less. Blocking 99% of UV protects your skin and keeps dashboards, leather, and trim from fading and cracking. Cutting glare makes long drives and low sun far easier on your eyes. And added privacy keeps what's in your car out of plain view — without going so dark you can't see out at night.

What To Expect

Choosing your shade (VLT)

Tint darkness is measured in VLT — Visible Light Transmittance. A lower number is darker; a higher number lets more light through. Heat rejection comes from the ceramic film, not the darkness, so you get the comfort you want at the look you want.

Near-clear

70% & 55% VLT

The lightest shades — near-factory clarity with real heat and UV rejection. Popular for windshields and front glass where a lighter, legal tint is required. Available across our PRIME films.

LIGHT

50% & 35% VLT

Subtle and bright. Strong heat and UV protection while keeping near-factory visibility — popular for windshields and front glass.

MEDIUM

20% VLT

The most-requested look. A clear, finished appearance with meaningful privacy and glare control all around.

DARK

5% VLT

Maximum privacy and a blacked-out rear. We'll walk you through NJ visibility rules before we cut anything.

Plan on a few hours for a full install, plus a short cure window — avoid rolling windows down for a few days while the film bonds. Every install is backed by a lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling, cracking, and fading.
